Chuang Lab | Decoding Disease at Cellular Resolution
Integrating genetics, spatial biology, and computational approaches to understand inflammatory bowel disease.
Integrating genetics, spatial biology, and computational approaches to understand inflammatory bowel disease.
At the Chuang Lab, we seek to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). By integrating human genetics, single-cell and spatial multi-omics, and computational approaches, we investigate how genetic variation shapes cellular behavior, immune responses, and tissue remodeling.
Our research focuses on identifying disease-associated cell states, uncovering mechanisms of chronic inflammation and fibrosis, and translating molecular discoveries into potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
